What information do we collect?

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, IP address, and information regarding our product usage, what pages are accessed and when.

How do we use your information?

  • seek your views or comments on ObjectBox services;

Third Party Service Providers working on our behalf: We may pass your information to our third party service providers, agents, subcontractors and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example, to send you emails). We have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure, they will not use it for their own direct marketing purposes.

  • Erase data: You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain circumstances.

Precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security in our systems. In the event that we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you to pick a secure password and not to share your password with anyone.

Use of cookies

Like many other websites, ObjectBox website uses cookies. ‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information sent by an organisation to your computer and stored on your hard drive to allow that website to recognise you when you visit. They collect statistical data about your browsing actions and patterns and do not identify you as an individual. This helps us to improve our website and deliver better, more personalised service.

Our website uses Google Analytics, a website analytics tool provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses ‘Cookies’ (see above) stored on your computer in order to analyse your use of our website. Mixpanel

ObjectBox uses Mixpanel (a service provided by Mixpanel, Inc.) to report individual and aggregated analytics metrics about the use of ObjectBox technologies.

You may opt-out of Mixpanel’s automatic retention of data that is collected while using the Services by visiting https://mixpanel.com/optout/. To track opt-outs, Mixpanel uses a persistent opt-out cookie placed on your device. Please note that if you get a new computer, install a new browser, erase or otherwise alter the browser’s cookie file (including upgrading certain browsers), you may delete the Mixpanel opt-out cookie.

Child protection 

We are concerned about protecting the privacy of children aged 16 and under. If you are aged 16 and under‚ please get your parent/guardian’s permission before providing us with personal information.

Transferring your information outside of Europe

As part of the services offered to you through this website, the information which you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (“EU”). By way of example, this may happen if any of our servers are from time to time located in a country outside of the EU. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the EU.
